Supplemental Range Rules—In Effect Until Further Notice

IWLA-R has reopened our ranges for members and their guests to comply with social distancing and other government requirements (as applicable) until resumption of normal operations. Face masks are required. Read the rules below. You MUST sign up to use the ranges!

Rifle, Pistol and Archery Ranges Operation

OPEN Hours Rifle & Pistol Ranges—IWLA-R MEMBERS ONLY

When Duty Range Officers are Assigned

  • Duty Range Officers are assigned from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays
    The 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday Duty Range Officer shift is cancelled until further notice
  • Priority is assigned to Range Approved members
  • Range Officer qualified members shall relinquish their position to a Range Approved member if maximum number of shooting positions is reached
  • Duty Range Officers may limit shooters to 45 minutes if persons are waiting
  • Maximum of 4 pistol range positions in use
  • Maximum occupancy of 6 persons in the pistol range house (includes Duty Range Officers)
  • Shooters shall be placed at minimum distance of every other position apart to maintain 6-foot distance
  • Maximum of 1 shooting position in use at the rifle range
  • Duty Range Officers may sign people in the logbooks to minimize contact
  • All persons shall wear masks at all times while in the range houses or spectator areas

OTHER Hours Rifle & Pistol Ranges

Applies to Range Officer Qualified Members ONLY

  • Maximum of 4 pistol range positions in use
  • Maximum occupancy of 6 persons in the pistol range house
  • Shooters shall be placed at minimum distance of every other position apart to maintain 6-foot distance
  • Maximum of one shooting position in use at the rifle range
  • All persons shall wear masks at all times while in the range houses or spectator areas

ARCHERY Range

  • Maximum of 3 archers using the range
  • Archers shall maintain 6-foot distances
  • All persons shall wear masks at all times while in the range areas (bow trees to downrange areas, including the archery tower)
